Municipal Election Upcoming Dates

The following dates are for the municipal elections. 

Qualifying Period Begins

Candidates can file their petitions, qualifying statements, and pay qualifying fees. 

Qualifying Deadline

In-Person Voter Registration

Municipal Clerks' offices may remain open from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. from February 24th to March 3rd for voter registration in the municipal primary election. 

In-Person Voter Registration

Municipal Clerks' offices must remain open from 8:00 a.m. to noon for voter registration for the municipal primary election. 

Primary Election Voter Registration Deadline

Those who visit their Municipal Clerks' office today and those who mail registration applications post-marked no later than today are eligible to vote in the Municipal Primary Election. 

In-Person Absentee Voting

Municipal Clerks' office may remain open from 8:00 a.m. to noon. 

In-Person Absentee Voting Deadline

Municipal Clerks' offices will be open from 8:00 a.m. to noon. 

Primary Election Day

Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Primary Runoff Absentee Voting

Municipal Clerks' offices must be open from 8:00 a.m. to noon. 

Primary Runoff In-Person Absentee Deadline

Municipal Clerks' offices must be open from 8:00 a.m. to noon. 

Primary Runoff Election Day

Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

In-Person Voter Registration

Municipal Clerks' offices may remain open from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. from April 29th to May 2nd for voter registration in the Municipal General Election. 

In-Person Voter Registration

Municipal Clerks' offices must remain open from 8:00 a.m. to noon for voter registration in the Municipal General Election. 

Municipal General Election Voter Registration Deadline

Those who visit their Municipal Clerks' office today and those who mail registration applications post-marked no later than today are eligible to vote in the Municipal General Election. 

General Election Absentee Voting

Municipal Clerks' offices may remain open from 8:00 a.m. to noon. 

In-Person Absentee Voting Deadline

Municipal Clerks' offices must remain open from 8:00 a.m. to noon. 

Municipal General Election Day

Polls open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Municipal Officers' Terms Begin

General Election Upcoming Dates

The following dates are for County School Board, Municipal Separate School District Trustee, Special Municipal Separate School District Trustee or Consolidated/Consolidated Line School District Trustee. 

Qualifying Period Begins

Candidates for County School Board, Municipal Separate School District Trustee, Special Municipal Separate School District Trustee or Consolidated/Consolidated Line School District Trustee can file their petitions, qualifying statements, and pay qualifying fees. 

Qualifying Deadline

In-Person Voter Registration

Circuit Clerks' offices may remain open from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. from September 29th to October 3rd for voter registration in the municipal primary election. 

In-Person Voter Registration

Circuit Clerks' offices must remain open from 8:00 a.m. to noon for voter registration for the general election, but only if there is a regularly scheduled school board election for November 4th. If there is no regularly scheduled school board election, there is no requirement for the Circuit Clerks' office to remain open. 

General Election Voter Registration Deadline

Those who visit their Circuit Clerks' office today and those who mail registration applications post-marked no later than today are eligible to vote in the General Election. 

In-Person Absentee Voting

Circuit Clerks' office may remain open from 8:00 a.m. to noon. 

In-Person Absentee Voting Deadline

Circuit Clerks' offices will be open from 8:00 a.m. to noon. 

Special Election Voter Registration Deadline

Those who visit their Circuit Clerks' office today and those who mail registration applications post-marked no later than today are eligible to vote in the Special Runoff Election. 

Regular Special Election Day

Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Special Runoff Election In-Person Absentee Voting

Circuit Clerks' offices must be open from 8:00 a.m. to noon. 

Special Runoff Election In-Person Absentee Deadline

Circuit Clerks' offices must be open from 8:00 a.m. to noon. 

Special Runoff Election Day

Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
